Location

Cukrana Gallery
Poljanski nasip 40
1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia

Cukrarna Gallery is seen as an architectural gem. There are some other architectural achievements located in its immediate surroundings. The TGH-48 car park on Ambrožev trg was built in 1969 and is one of Savin Sever’s best preserved works, both in terms of concept and implementation. At the end of the embanked section of the Ljubljanica River is an outstanding work by another Slovenian architect – Plečnik’s sluice gate, designed to control the water level in the city centre. Jože Plečnik's work is also the park on Ambrožev trgu, a cultural monument of national importance. Visually, this ensemble is completed by the two-level Fabiani Bridge designed by Jurij Kobe and built in 2012.
